How does it Work?

Hypnosis works with your subconscious mind. This is a good thing because your smoking is a unconscious behavior. This is why it is so hard to give up even though part of you doesn’t want to smoke, another part of you still does. Hypnosis works by making changes below the level that the behavior comes from.

The subconscious mind is similar in function to a computer hard drive.  It takes information in, records it, and plays it back. Hypnosis creates a receptive mind where we can remove what’s not working and put in new software. Using hypnosis we can help change your inner dialogue so you become a permanent non smoker.

How Many Sessions?

About 7 out of 10 people will stop smoking after the first session.

An effective option is to have 2 sessions: one to quit and the second to reinforce the change.

Another option is to have a withdrawal program where we get you to reduce the amount of cigarettes by 5 per week till you become a permanent non smoker, giving you the support you need while you reeducate yourself and find new thing to do with your extra time and improved health. So that means if you smoke 30 cigarettes per day then you will need at least 5 sessions.
